Fund The Trust 2nd Reader!

On Monday October 15th the Fund The Trust Act will pass to second reader with two last minute amendments passed by the Taxation and Finance Committee. One is a grandfather exemption for the first TWO YEARS after the legislation passes- this could cost up to 10 million dollars a year in lost revenue for the Affordable Housing Trust Fund.

We must stand together and defend all the hard work and sacrifice it has taken to get to this point, including over 36,000 petitions in favor of Funding The Trust at 20 Million dollars every year, an historic agreement with the City to #FundTheTrust through legislation and bonds, and thousands of hours of organizing, educating, and developing plans in our neighborhoods for development without displacement.

Join us 10/15 at City Hall at 4 PM to demand we #FundTheTrust, NO EXEMPTIONS! RSVP below!
